SPIN! Neapolitan Pizza To Open Three Dallas Area Locations

Fresh Artisan Food In Distinct Atmosphere That Attracts All Ages Heading to Southlake, Richardson, Las Colinas

KANSAS CITY, MO (July 16, 2014) – Locally owned and operated SPIN! Neapolitan Pizza, honored with numerous awards for its fresh artisan food and distinct, inviting, bustling atmosphere that attracts all ages, plans to open three locations in the Dallas area between November 2014 and May 2015. The first location will open in Southlake, followed by Richardson, and Las Colinas in Irving.

In addition to the new locations in Dallas, SPIN! currently has locations under construction in Crown Center, Overland Park’s Corbin Park, and on the University of Central Missouri campus. Entering the Dallas market is part of a careful, measured expansion plan, says SPIN!® Partner Gail Lozoff. “We are growing very deliberately because it’s most important for us to preserve the integrity of our company and culture as we transport them to other markets.”

“One of the reasons that we chose Dallas is because it’s easy to get to and will cut down on the time that we need to be away from Kansas City. Plus, we have family and friends there. Personal relationships are so important. Also, we’ve had a lot of interest in SPIN! bringing our food and guest experience to Dallas.”

Not only does Lozoff have family and friends in Dallas, but Kansas native and one of SPIN!’s four partners, Mike Kramer, lived in Dallas until recently returning to Kansas City. Kramer says he looks forward to sharing SPIN! with his former neighbors. “As someone who has lived in both Dallas and Kansas City, I think SPIN! is a great match for Dallas and I’m eager to bring SPIN! to that area. SPIN!’s food is amazing. The atmosphere is hip and has energy. I feel like our unique approach to the pizza, salad and wine experience will be welcomed and embraced,” Kramer says.

SPIN! will introduce its hand-spun, stone-fired pizzas to the Dallas area in Southlake Town Square,1586 E. Southlake Blvd. The second area SPIN! Pizza will open in late 2014 or early 2015 at 348 Campbell Road in Richardson’s Canyon Creek Plaza. The Las Colinas SPIN! will be located in a free-standing building at 1030 W. John W. Carpenter Freeway scheduled to open in early 2015.

SPIN! Neapolitan Pizza Announces Franchisee For Nebraska, South Dakota, and North Dakota

Dee Jay’s to Open Award-Winning Pizza Concept in States Where they Currently Operate Successful Restaurants

KANSAS CITY, MO (May 21, 2014) – SPIN! Neapolitan Pizza, honored with numerous awards for its food and concept, has signed an agreement with Dee Jay’s to open franchise locations in Nebraska, South Dakota, and North Dakota.  The agreement calls for the experienced restaurant operator to open a minimum of five restaurants within the territory over the next six years. The new franchisee currently operates a number of successful dining concepts in those markets.

With a raft of awards including being named one of the “Rest of the 101 Best Restaurants” in the nation by top foodie website TheDailyMeal.com and a “Breakout Brand” in 2013 by Nation’s Restaurant News, SPIN!® also has franchises in Southern California and the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as six company-owned locations in its home market of Missouri and Kansas and three more under construction in those states.

SPIN!’s newest franchisee, Dee Jay’s, has operated restaurants for more than 50 years. Dee Jay’s currently operates a number of top-ranked fast food concepts in Canada and the United States, including KFC, Taco Bell, Long John Silvers, and A&W, and its own casual dining concept, Eddie Websters. Dee Jay’s is based in Estevan, Saskatchewan, Canada.

The 3,800 square-foot restaurants will be located downtown in Crown Center – a complex that includes Hallmark Card’s world headquarters and attracts five million visitors annually – and in the Corbin Park retail center in the Kansas suburb of Overland Park. San Francisco Bay Area franchisee Parker Hospitality Group has signed an agreement to open five restaurants in 7 years in San Mateo County with an option to open another five in Santa Clara County.

SPIN! Pizza To Open on University of Central Missouri Campus

Award-Winning Pizzeria to Open in New Mixed-Use Facility “The Crossing – South at Holden” in August 2015

KANSAS CITY, MO (March 25, 2014) Award-winning SPIN! Neapolitan Pizza plans to open a location in the new mixed-use project “The Crossing – South at Holden” on the University of Central Missouri (UCM) campus to serve students, faculty, staff, and the local Warrensburg, Mo. community. Expected to open in August 2015, the 116 W. South St. location will have more than 100 seats, a bar, and a full patio overlooking the football stadium.

With a raft of national and local awards for its food and concept, SPIN!® Pizza is known for its exceptional, artisan food made from fresh ingredients without the gourmet price and its eclectic, affordable premium wines. SPIN!’s homemade soups, made-from-scratch salad dressings, as well as its pizza toppings and ingredients are prepared fresh daily from fresh produce and meats. SPIN! will be located in an innovative new 185,000-square-foot mixed-use facility at the current site of the UCM General Services Building on the north side of Audrey J. Walton Stadium at Vernon Kennedy Field. The largest capital project in the university’s history, the project is part of UCM’s commitment to the Learning to a Greater Degree Contract, a tool to increase undergraduate completion.

Once completed, the facility will serve as a new front door to Warrensburg's downtown community, and include a living center consisting of 325 beds for upper-class students, two- and four-bedroom units, and retail offerings that include a new University Store, a convenience store, SPIN! Pizza, and Starbucks. Other special features include a number of spaces for social interaction, including small window seats, two-story lounges, large community rooms, and an events plaza.
