KANSAS CITY, MO (Oct. 10, 2018) It’s time to celebrate one of America’s favorite and most versatile pizza toppings on Thursday, Oct. 11, National Sausage Pizza Day. Kansas City’s own SPIN! A second red-sauce pizza — the Salsiccia (Italian sausage) & Carmelized Onions — marries the flavor of robustly seasoned sausage with the sweetness of carmelized onions.

Sausage also comes into full bloom when partnered with fruit as on SPIN!’s Salsiccia Con Mela pizza which combines authentic Italian sausage, sweet fresh apple slices and crushed glazed pecans on a white pizza with roasted garlic olive oil glaze.
